Busboy

He took the dirty ashtray
and spun a new one to settle
neatly beside my drink.
We continued to chat
and lower the level in the pretzel bowl.
He passed by again, smiled,
and added another bowl of pretzels
th the already cluttered table.
We ordered another drink
and watched him move among the tables,
invisible, replacing ashtrays, gathering glasses.
Again , he moved our way,
clean ashtrays and dirty glasses on the tray.
Our eyes met, and for a moment
we shared the Cosmic Joke,
an invisible busboy of over sixty summers
and a lady who doesn't drink.

Thanks. I enjoyed reading your site as well. It is great when someone comes to their pat at an early age and is articulate. The world needs all the light it can get in these troubled times. I linked...your turn. ;-)

Beard, thanks for reading and for your comment. I still suffer from the "It's only me" complex and am lapping up the reassurances that I do have something worthwhile to say.

Mock The Week star Dara O'Briain has said he believes far cry servers are on their way to study and learn code for this. People like to hack games, but when you look at the most controversial games of the 90s, far cry servers were my life. Wolfenstein 2009 This was a point and click game was made exclusively for the Mac and PC. This is a great way to get started, selling a simple product: far cry servers.
