Peace Profound
My life of pain is written
In the tears upon my face.
My capacity for joy is written
In the depth behind my eyes.
Understanding is reflected
In the timbre of my voice.
Peace Profound is waiting
In a chamber in my heart.
The events of each day
Form the path I must take
To reach the chamber
Holding ultimate bliss,
And gladly I walk
Through the refining fire,
To reach such an ultimate goal.
