Adrift
Adrift on the sea of life,
In a raft as fragile as a leaf,
The calm in the eye of the storm
Was made for weary travelers,
A place to gather strength
Before braving the forces once again.
How long may I drift here
Before a vagrant wave
Picks up my fragile craft
And hurls me once more
Into the teeth of experience.

another wonderful one!
For however long as light will last,
Your luminous being shall ever cast,
And when the water takes you nigh,
Reach you will ever so high,
Hold the course on waters cast,
Look back with love on your past,
Smile your heart shall receive,
Full blessing you did achieve.
That one 'Adrift' has that smooth and silky slide and moves both the words and the meaning along so patiently and bouyantly, very sweet sailing while you wait, the experience is sometimes the sail and the wind.
Thanks for the comments on my blog Zareba, you are right, writing is the necessity, saying and letting the words go out, they will do their work in the right place at the right time, Angels move them and Angels tell them and the right people see them. All very necessary and right.
You are really sharp here too, keep doing it, say it all and don't stop. See ya later, Z.
So beautiful… and so true, comparing life as a sea in which we’re a fragile leaf adrift on it, and we must be ever-vigilant to handle its ups and downs.
Thank you all for your kind words and understanding.
