The concern is with what will happen to our current civilization. We poison our planet and each other with no concern for the future of our children. I believe they will inherit a very different world from the one my generation inherited. Nothing would please me more than to be wrong about this!

Enjoy your trip to Chicago. I look forward to your impressions.Zarebahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15036285066771181559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16682364.post-47148091922846822722008-01-08T18:32:00.000-04:002008-01-08T18:32:00.000-04:00and the same to you Alexys. I hope you had a good holiday season, and look forward to your additional comments. It seem the older we get, the less time we have to do the things we want to. Getting here has been difficult over the holidays, but I hope to catch up soon.

Wishing you sunshine and laughterZarebahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15036285066771181559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16682364.post-65736047643726917302008-01-08T18:26:00.000-04:002008-01-08T18:26:00.000-04:00Hi Rauf. You put forth an interesting idea, but not one that is likely to happen in any great hurry.

I have watched the predictions of total anarchy, total oblivion and destruction of the earth itself, and disagree with all of them.

Unfortunately I have seen nothing to change my mind from my original article in 2002.Zarebahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15036285066771181559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16682364.post-30304778528747436242008-01-05T14:13:00.000-04:002008-01-05T14:13:00.000-04:00The world never ends! The game continues ever eternally. So none need to worry about nothing. If there is too much of environmental pollution and the Earth can bear no more, it will just absorb it, deep within itself or throw it all up and catch it later! Everything goes back to that molten fire in its womb and is born again!
So let's all have fun - whatever comes, whatever goes!
Love. Swaha. We will endure and be okay regardless of here or there, I depend on that!

I am optimistic, even as I am disgruntled, lol, You know how it is, both at once makes for a tensive life!

I will read the other posts here and see you later, will make me a copy and read offline, my online time is limited these days, Love to you and yours!Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07971088194383172409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16682364.post-42207283504268713832007-12-27T10:06:00.000-04:002007-12-27T10:06:00.000-04:00Zareba, hope you had a joyful ChristmasJust as i a...Zareba, hope you had a joyful Christmas
Just as i am writing this the former prime minister of Pakistan
on an election campaign died in a bomb blast.
one woman leader less.

Many have predicted the end of the world Zareba. Not many go into the reasons for it.
Why human race failed.

The entire planet is run and managed by the female species. A fact completely ignored by all major religions and philosophies of the world. Only Humans are male dominated. i have written about it in my final post on environment series,

http://whitesroad.blogspot.com/2007/01/speed-13-environment-final-say.html

i wrote two more posts on the subject after that (Mother earth Alive and Eco friendly people, altogether in 15 posts under SPEED) but they are all very long.

Zareba, allowing men to rule the world was the first blunder. i have to say a lot on this subject.
Things would have been lot different if humans had stayed within the laws of nature and women managed and run the world.
We have deviated so much from nature that we unfortunately have nothing to do with it except plundering the earth. Humans are the only species which have defied the laws of nature.

i came up with suggestions, to allow women to make decisions at the grass root level. We have seen very few women leaders at the top.
This is unfortunate.
Earth has the capacity to heal itself without any help from the humans. But only if we let. The environmentalists are barking at a wrong tree. We have wrong priorities. The first priority towards saving the humans from extinction being women taking decisions right from the bottom to the top. We humans are too small to help the earth. People don't understand this.raufhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14069291890495563749noreply@blogger.com
